My Journey in Accounting World - Part 2

At first I felt disappointed with myself
Why I can't be like others who straight to Bachelor degree
But I tried to embrace myself
And now I feel graceful for the decision I made

A diploma degree, especially in University of Indonesia,
Really help us become a person who strong in technical skill in work world
Meanwhile in Bachelor Degree, we've been prepared to be stronger in academic (literature) skill
Therefor, after I finished my 3 years in diploma degree,
I straight to extension (bachelor) degree in UI for 2 years (lucky me, that consider faster than other who can take 2.5 up to 3 years to graduate from extension degree)

During my extension degree, I work as auditor in second tier public accounting firm full time.
Because my campus began at 7PM, so I worked from 8 AM to 5 PM, go to campus, and study from 7 PM to 9.30 PM
Is it tiring?
Yes it is
But I take the benefit from it
It makes me become a strong person and have a good time management
I still be able to have GPA above 3.2 both in Extension Degree even though I also working

After graduate from extension degree, I take a break from study for 1 year
Because I wanna have field trip from office to other province
Something that I can't get when I worked while studied
And continue working in same place
Then I thought....
Should I get master degree or professional degree...

Due to some reasons, I chose to take professional degree
And I really really really regret it
If I could turn back time,
I would not take 1 year to break, take master degree immediately after graduate from extension degree, and move the job into new higher office

But hey,
People learn from their mistakes right?
Because of that, I become someone that I become today

I finished my professional degree finally in 2015 but my Certificate released in 2017
Due to sooooo many dramas
(you should read my trending post about it. But I closed the post right now. Haha)
With very strong and high determination, never ending exams and retake exams,
Finally I get my Chartered Accountant Certificate
Let me tell you something, it is very very very hard for me to get my CA
I hate you IAI and Dikti for made many changes in regulations during my period of study

Does it stop?
No
I still have an eager to get my CPA
Wohoooooo

Recently I get my CPA
Is it easy?
No it's not
For me, it required strategy
Why I said that?
Because I hate Management & Cost Accounting soooo much
That's why, lucky for me, I joined Professional Recognition Program (PRP) for Certified Professional Auditor of Indonesia (CPA Level 2 - Middle) and I got waived for Management & Cost Accounting subject test
Wohooo!!!
And it also in my period where IAPI have new regulation for their CPA
Where to become CPA you should passed Ca-ACC (correct me if I'm wrong)....CPAI.....CPA
But I thankful for this
Because their regulation clearer than IAI have

I got my Bachelor degree, professional degree, CA, and CPA
9 years of struggle
How can?
Yes it can
3 years diploma degree +
2 years bachelor degree +
1 year study break +
1 year professional degree +
1 year CA
1 year CPA
